A story from San Antonio about a boy who changed the world

One day something happened that Willie would never forget.
It had rained again.  That morning, Willie decided he would discover what caused the flooding once and for all.  “Vamonos!”  He told Rudy.  “Adventure!”
The night before, the drums in his head wouldn’t stop.
Why?Where?What?When?   Why?Why?Why?
He just had to know where the flooding began.
His mother let him go.  Once Willie started on something there was no stopping him.  They took some tacos and a rope just in case they found something interesting to bring home.

Mayor Castro sees children’s interactive book developments

We are based at Geekdom,  and they hosted a visit for San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, City Manager Sheryl Sculley and District 1 Councilman Diego Bernal on March 6th.  Graham Weston, one of the founders of Rackspace and Geekdom was on hand to give them a full tour. The entourage was very impressed with our collaborative multi-modal project, especially when we were able to give them a full demonstration of the iPad capabilities we have developed, along with the rich illustrations Artist Debora Kuetzpal Vasquez has been developing for the book, written by author Barbara Renaud Gonzalez.
